Mt. Hikami was once revered as a spiritual place.
It housed a unique religion based on beliefs and customs of worshipping water as a deity and is said to have been a site of many gruesome incidents and mysterious phenomena.
This mysterious and intertwined story follows three protagonists—Yuri Kozukata, Miu Hinasaki, and Ren Hojo—as each of them explores the ominous Mt. Hikami, a place where many came to die, and the secrets it hides.
* An old camera with the ability to repel vengeful ghosts and seal away their power by photographing them. Equip stronger lenses and change out different films to capture even more powerful photos.
* Utilize the characters’ special power, Shadow Reading, by touching Tokens in order to sense shadows of the past, known as Traces.
* An ability to understand the reason a vengeful ghost died by coming into contact with them when they are vanishing.
Coming into contact with items of interest during exploration may turn into phantom encounters …
* Pose characters and ghosts, place them freely for haunting memories in the newly added photo mode; perhaps even take a picture of a real ghost by accident …
* The original lineup of costumes has been slightly altered, and new costumes for Yuri, Miu and Ren have been added. Change the characters’ costumes to experience investigation in different ways.
在系列邁向 20 周年的 2021 年，系列第 5 部作品《零 ~濡鴉之巫女~》將以高畫質再度復活。讓玩家彷彿身歷其境般，體驗席捲而來的恐懼。並且追加了「拍照模式」以及為主角們變更服裝設計與新增服裝。
《故事》
昔日受人們崇敬的靈場「日上山」。
傳聞該座山上存在著膜拜「水」的特殊信仰和俗習，並多次傳出發生駭人的事件和不可思議的現象。
這個故事以有「迎接死亡之人到訪」之稱的「日上山」為舞台，由不來方夕莉、放生蓮、雛咲深羽3人交織而成的一則的怪異幻想譚。
本作的三名主角 – 不來方夕莉、放生蓮、雛咲深羽為了尋找在以「死之山」之稱被人們畏懼的「日上山」中，消失的人或物，而在各地探索。他們只能依賴手電筒微弱的光芒，以及可以拍攝出肉眼看不到之物的照相機「射影機」，一一擊退來襲的幽靈，而解開謎團後等待他們的將會是……?
